Writing Prompt
I was listening to an audio CD from Simon T. Bailey about "releasing your brilliance". He talks about courage, facing your fears, valuing your partner, living your life and investing in yourself. According to Simon, we are all "brilliant carats" that need to be shaped and polished. He says you should be not only an aspirin but also a vitamin.
As a writer and in your every day life, how are you like an aspirin, a vitamin or both?

I think I'm probably more like an aspirin for my kids each day. They need something to soothe an ache, physical or emotional. I could use a vitamin boost for my writing!!
Oh, I like this question, LOL. I think I would be a vitamin...I speak, teach, and write about God's grace and how His love changes us and makes us whole. This is healthy living and enables us to live at our very best knowing we are loved and complete like a vitamin. An aspirin simply covers and masks symptoms, it might bring relief for awhile but it doesn't bring true healing.
I'm like a vitamin because I offer encouragement and information to my fellow writers searching for freelance writing jobs. I critique their work and send them links to jobs I think might suit them, like Freelance writing jobs . That gives them "pep" to keep going!
