Hello, my name is Ana. Welcome to my blog! I started this blog to motivate myself to write every day. I embarked in a writing journey to find out all I could about the writing world. I discovered I have a true passion for writing, even if I never get published. In this blog, I write about anything that I connect with, information on the writing craft and personal interest stories. Writing, to me, is the best way to share feelings, experiences and inspiration. Thank you for visiting.
This was a good article. There are still many questions though. Does this e-book service advertise? How do they get their products known to the public? Would it be better to market an e-book on our own?
I am interested in e-books and had never heard of this service, so I was glad to learn of them. Thanks.
Interesting. I sort of blogged on a similar topic, if you get a chance check it out. I'd be interested to know your thoughts. Thank you I appreciate it.
@Warren These are all very good questions. I think they would have some of the answers on their website. One of the things I got from the article was that you would get more royalty using this type of service than going the regular publishing route. I am going to look more into this too.
@Eileen I think e-publishing is what we will see more of in the future. I am not totally sold of this way of publishing yet. I would like to see my book in hard cover as well. To me it would be more "real" this way.
thanks for this, and im always in favor of e-publishing.. not only does it cover more stringent copyright laws but i love the fact that your book can reach to the buyers without any waiting! hard covers are hard to carry and difficult to move along with u! but todays' laptop world, where every tom, dick and harry carries a laptop, its easy to have your fav. book read anytime anywhere.. soft copies are thumbs up! they save paper also!

I think e-publishing is great if you can get the book in hard-cover as well. It's the one-sided way that bothers me.
I think it's unavoidable.
