A Bucket Of Joy For 2011

As another year is ending, I reflect on the year it was. I am happy to see 2010 go. For me it was a year of transition, challenges, growth, sadness, hurt, anger, with periods of joy in between. My faith in God has been tested and I questioned whether he heard my prayers or not, because I was not getting any answers. However, I truly believe he does not give you more than you can handle.

My pastor says not to let anything or anyone take away your joy. Though this may not be easy to do, it is worth a try. Some of the points he made on "JOY" are:

1. Joy comes after darkness
2. Joy comes after discomfort
3. Joy comforts all fears
4. Joy is contagious
5. Joy comes while on duty and serving

Here are two of my own:

6. Stop trying to help God out with your life, he has it covered and does not need your help.
7. God will listen and see you through.

In 2011, I wish you all a year full of self-discovery and growth, magical moments, endurance and perseverance, continued passion for writing, faith, no regrets, and a joyful spirit, heart and soul. Happy 2011!

Hope 2011 is good to you, Ana. Because of your blog, I entered a short story contest and ended up with a published story. Take heart, you are an inspiration to lots of people that you probably don't even know!

Hi Ana:
Sorry to hear 2010 was filled with unwanted challenges for you.

I must say our year was tough, too! My husband had a bypass and several complications ensued. A year of unwanted challenges indeed!

I've heard that the stars are aligned for 2011 to be an overall better year for everyone. Let's hope they're right!

Wishing you a happy, healthy, focused, and prosperous New Year.

Find a girlfriend who is prettier, smarter, and has more money than your ex. Then flaunt her around the places you know your ex frequents. Don't even acknowledge what she did to your car. She wants your attention and apparently will do anything to get it. Moving on will be the best revenge. It will burn her up!!
