"There is nothing that wastes the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever." ---Mahatma Gandhi
I was inspired to wrote the poem below for a friend of mine who was going through a difficult separation from her husband. She told me it brought tears to her eyes after she read it.
If someone no longer wants us in their life, there will be another person that will. We should see this as a blessing in disguise and an open door to let someone in our life that truly values the person we are and all we have to offer.
NO MORE TEARS
In your eyes, the sadness lies
There are no more tears to cry
The burden is too heavy for you to bear
But God listens to your prayers
Though it may not be today or tomorrow
He is aware of your sorrow
Nothing you did pushed your loved one away
He had plenty of chances to stay
Remember, keep the faith
For there are rainbows after rain
